This shifter cable is designed to only suit the Hurst Pro-Matic and V-Matic automatic shifters. Please refer to the correct shifter instruction manual for installation of this cable.

This cable is measured from end to end at 5 foot. Please ensure that this is the correct length for your application. Do not let cable kink anywhere along its length, if it is kinked it will not operate the transmission correctly. Cable should be kept straight for 2 inches on either end of cable to ensure correct operation. If this is not followed it will cause damage to all components associated to the shifter cable including transmission.

NOTE: Ensure the shifter cable is not located near or have direct contact with extreme heat sources.

It is recommend to either use a heat sleeve over the cable or fabricate a heat shield to protect cable from all heat sources.
