Loctite 660 quick metal is a fast and effective way to repair worn or loose machine parts. Quick metal is a non-running paste that is spread onto parts to fill worn areas or to fill gaps in metal parts of up to 0.5mm. Once assembled it hardens to a strength that is often double that of a press fit.
- Prevents bearing spin in housings and can form-in-place shims
- High strength
- Resistant to oils, cutting fluids and most solvents once cured
- Fills gaps to 0.5mm
- Temperature range: -55°C to +150°C
- Strength nominal: 22.5N/mm² (3260psi)
Applications
- Suitable for worn shafts, housing, couplings, keyways, and splines
