The Aeroflow Performance GM LS modular intake manifolds allow the end user to customize their intake manifold depending on each individual application. This cast aluminium manifold performs well and offers an extremely good value for a performance intake manifold for the very popular GM LS engine family.
Aeroflow offer either a hi rise manifold where bonnet modifications will be required. The long runner design allows for high rpm horsepower with big cube engines for a serious drag racer. A low-rise design manifold which allows it to fit under a stock bonnet in most street car applications. Short intake runners with tapered top are designed to increase air velocity and more evenly distribute airflow to all 8 cylinders improving performance and throttle response.
The modular design is made up of the bottom base which bolts to the cylinder heads and the top plate which bolts to the base with an O-ring to seal both components. Each base will fit either a cathedral port or rectangle port cylinder heads. With a choice of NON-EFI with no injector bosses or EFI with 16 injector bosses (8 undrilled) complete with fuel rails and cross over, designed to suit 14mm short length (33mm) fuel injectors. All bases have a provision for a LS style map sensor on the rear along with 1 x 3/8" NPT and 1 x 1/8" NPT ports with bungs.
The top plate features a short throttle body snout to accept a 102mm 4 bolt GM LS throttle body. A burst panel is welded on the top plate which releases pressure (200psi) in the event of a backfire to save your intake manifold.
Each intake manifold can be purchased complete or as individual items. Available in either natural cast or black power coated finishes.
